Tom Ritacco:
Covering the San Diego territory, Tom has over 26 years of technical selling in the Southwest. Tom’s career spans the full breadth of technical selling: distribution, direct, and manufacturers’ representative. Tom’s dedication to servicing customer’s needs, a solid technical background and strong interpersonal skills allowed Tom to flourish in every situation he has encountered.
Tom’s last position with a prominent sales representative firm in Southern California he sold for companies such as K&L Microwave, Cougar Components, Eudyna, Dielectric Labs, Tensolite, and Trak Microwave. His position as account manager allowed him to build on established relationships with key customers in the Los Angeles and Arizona territories.
Tom sold various RF/Microwave products during his 12 years with Watkins-Johnson Company: RF and Microwave components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Components included amplifiers, mixers, YIG filters and oscillators, VCO’s, PIN switches. Sub-assemblies included up/down converters, digitally tuned oscillators (DTO’s), and other custom designs. Systems and equipment included COMINT and ELINT receivers and receiving systems.
In distribution sales, Tom sold computer and peripheral hardware to industrial and OEM accounts. Tom holds Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Manny Olmedo:
Covering the Los Angeles and Orange County territory, Manny continues to combine his design experience and sales skills to further his successful sales career of over 21 years. Manny’s technical sales career has involved both outside and inside sales: manufacturer’s representative, product marketing manager, direct sales, and distribution selling. All in the RF/Microwave/Lightwave markets in the Southwest region: Southern California from San Luis Obispo to San Diego counties, as well as Arizona.
As managing partner of a Southern CA rep firm, Manny represented well known RF/Microwave OEM’s such as Astrolab, Hittite Microwave, Johanson Manufacturing, Ericsson, Honeywell, Fujitsu, Anadigics. Manny served the Orange County and Los Angeles county territories for over 8 years building on established relationships at key accounts in both the commercial and the defense markets.
Manny sold various products during his 10 years at Watkins-Johnson Company: RF/Microwave devices, components, sub-assemblies, and ELINT intercept and direction finding equipment and systems both in Southern California and Arizona.
At Richardson Electronics, Manny had the opportunity to gain distribution sales experience while continuing to focus on the RF/Microwave market in the greater LA Basin territory.
Prior to entering sales, Manny was a circuit design engineer and project engineer on Microwave and RF modules. Manny has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Clark Hickerson:
Clark covers the Northern Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara county territories. Clark’s career combines technical sales, technical engineering management, program management, and operations management always focused on the RF/Microwave markets.
Clark’s 15 years in direct sales include Lucix Corporation as Director of Sales, where he sold DRO’s and microwave amplifiers. He held a similar position at MCCI where he sold high power passive components such as power combiners, splitters, filters, and ferrites. During his 5 years at REMEC, Clark was the Eastern Regional Sales & Marketing Manager for multi-function microwave assembly products. While at Watkins-Johnson, Clark sold RF/Microwave components and sub-assemblies.
Technical experience includes positions at Intel’s Xircom as OEM Program Manager for Wi-Fi and GPRS products and Vice President of Operations at Amplica, a microwave amplifier manufacturer. At Watkins-Johnson Company he held the positions of product manager, engineering section head manager, project engineer for the Mixer, Amplifier, Frequency Converter, VCO/DTO product lines.
Clark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a minor in Electrical Engineering, and a Master’s in Business Administration.
Melinda Olmedo:
Melinda will put her financial management skills to use as Chief Financial Officer and will continue her role as inside sales administrator. She has supported Manny in that inside sales role during the past 8 years.
Melinda’s 29 year Financial Management career at Raytheon’s Newport Beach Silicon Operations allowed her to gain a solid business understanding of the high tech electronics market.
Melinda has Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration.
